How much will home health care cost me?

Your Medicare part A plus supplement or Medicare HMO pays 100% of all Home Health Services less any annual required deductible. Most private insurance pays for home health care with limits to the number of visits allowed by your policy. Check your card for benefits, or allow us to assist you. Some supplies, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work.

I'm nervous about letting strangers into my home. Are background checks done and how often?

Yes, we do background checks and complete drug and alcohol screenings upon hire, and randomly. Additionaly, EVERY month Office of the Inspector General (OIG) checks are done. This is a complete Federal and Criminal screening of each employee and business associate.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept Medicare, Tricare East, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and Workers Comp. All these plans cover home health depending on which plan you have. We can assist you in determining what your plan will cover.

Is someone available on weekends and holidays if needed?

Yes, we have nursing available to our patients 24/7, weekends and holidays, for medical needs.

Who qualifies for Medicare Home Health?

You must require the assistance of a nurse, physical or occupational therapist, or social worker. You must be considered homebound for at least a temporary time period. Medicare considers you homebound if you need the help of another person or medical equipment such as crutches, a walker, a cane, or a wheelchair to leave home, or your doctor believes that your health or illness could get worse if you leave home, and it is difficult for you to leave your home and you typically cannot do so safely by yourself. You must be under the care of a physician.

Can I leave home and still be considered Homebound by Medicare?

Yes, Medicare allows you to leave home intermittently for short periods for any kind of medical care, church services, barber/beauty shop, or for a family event or a short ride.

Do you have to be homebound for Private Insurance Home Health?

Most Private Insurance does not require you to be homebound.
